Job description
Join Chexy as a Senior Data Scientist focusing on Building Risk Models in downtown Toronto, Ontario. Craft the future of payments through innovative credit and underwriting solutions. Chexy is searching for a Senior Data Scientist to build our credit function from the ground up. As an integral part of our team, you will manage end-to-end development of risk models that influence product decisions and customer approval processes. This role gives you the unique opportunity to work with exceptional datasets, creating a robust underwriting framework that stands out in the Canadian fintech sector. Key Responsibilities: • Spearhead the development of strategic risk and underwriting models • Monitor and improve decision-making frameworks for Flex products • Craft the data architecture that underpins credit assessments • Oversee risk policies and loss forecasting mechanisms • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch solutions Requirements: • 6+ years in data science, particularly in risk modeling • Experience with Python, SQL, and large datasets • Familiarity with Canadian credit ecosystems and regulations • Results-driven with a knack for constructing frameworks • Proven experience in deploying models to real-world applications Drive Chexy forward by establishing a pioneering credit and risk framework that transforms how payments are made in Canada. #J-18808-Ljbffr
