Job description
Our client, a leading utility provider specializing in electricity distribution and related services, is seeking a Business Function Implementation Lead to join their dynamic team. As a Business Function Implementation Lead, you will be supporting the Finance department and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive problem-solving mindset, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Business Function Implementation Lead Location: Toronto, ONTARIO (Remote work available with 60% onsite presence) What's the Job?0 hLead and coordinate SAP FICO functional activities, ensuring system stability and performance. Manage and support SAP Finance modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, and Bank Accounting. Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions. Oversee interface management between SAP and integrated systems such as SAP Concur, EBS, and CC&B. Guide offshore support teams, monitor ticket queues, and ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests. What's Needed? 5 to 8 years of experience in SAP FICO Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO). Strong understanding of organizational structure, chart of accounts design, and document types. Experience with configuration, solution design, and end-to-end ownership of SAP FICO modules. Proven leadership skills, including task allocation, mentoring, and conflict resolution. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with finance stakeholders and technical teams. What's in it for me?
