Job description
Become the foundational Tax Manager for Geely Auto in Canada. Establish comprehensive tax compliance and strategic planning for a successful market entry. As Geely Auto embarks on its Canadian journey, the company is in need of a seasoned Tax Manager to lay the groundwork for tax compliance and reporting. This role is vital for ensuring that operations align with Canadian tax laws while providing business-critical advice. You will be instrumental in developing a robust tax framework from inception. Key Responsibilities: • Build the Canadian tax strategy and compliance processes • Prepare corporate income tax filings and other required returns • Collaborate on transfer pricing policies for cross-border transactions • Provide proactive tax advice for operational needs • Manage tax audits and inquiries with authorities Requirements: • CPA designation specializing in tax; CPA In-Depth Tax Program preferred • 10+ years of Canadian corporate tax experience required • Proven track record in starting tax functions • Strong familiarity with Canadian tax regulations and specific automotive taxes • Excellent communication skills across diverse cultures Contribute your expertise to forge Geely Auto's tax compliance as it enters the Canadian market. #J-18808-Ljbffr
