Medcan is recruiting for a Facilities Attendant to join our client-focusedFacilitiesTeam. We are looking for a well-spoken individual with exceptional client service skills and a great attitude. The role is responsible for maintaining cleanlinessandorganizationof allclinic areasincluding locker rooms lounges offices and examination rooms.The successful candidate will be assigned duties as directed by the ManagerClient Services.

This is a part-time position and must be available for all shifts as assigned. The ideal candidate has some housekeepinglight food and beverage experiencewith anappreciation for attention to detail.

This position is stationed at Medcans Oakville location at2275 Upper Middle Road East Oakville.

What Youll Do

• General maintenance of all areas of the clinic

• Housekeeping opening and closing procedures

• Setting up and managing breakfast lunch and snacks in clinic lounges

• Stocking and inventory for the clinic lounges

• Maintenance of restrooms and locker rooms

• Inventory and order placement for daily breakfast lunch and snacks

• Review and reporting of any maintenance deficiencies

• Linen supplies and inventory

• Assistance with food and beverage service

• Spot checking and refreshing of all public areas

• Responding to client requests

• Assisting nurses inrestockingclinicrooms throughout the day

• Checking and distributing incoming deliveries

• Clinic supplies and deliveries as needed

• Sterilization of equipmentand medical supplies

• Disposal of clinic waste including medical/biohazard waste

• Preventive maintenance

• Coordinating with other clinic staff to ensure exceptional delivery of service

• All other tasks as assigned byManagerClient Services.

The Requirements:

• Customer service skills training

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Strong organization and time managementskills

• Full-time position and must be available assigned

• Prior hotel housekeeping experience in a 4-5 Star Hotel is an asset

This is a part-time positionandscheduled for3 days a weekbetweenMonday-Saturdayduring the clinic hours of6:00am-6:30pm.

Position Pay Range

$17.49 - $24.05 CAD per hour

Pay will be determined based on an analysis of the selected candidates experience and qualifications within the roles compensation grade. Medcans compensation ranges are determined by a combination of required qualifications and skills market value and internal equity. The above range pertains solely to the base compensation and is not inclusive of additional compensation details such as perks benefits and potential bonuses or incentives.
