About Felix

Founded in 2019, Felix is Canada's first end-to-end healthcare experience, providing online treatment, prescription delivery and ongoing care across a growing range of categories such as mental health, birth control, erectile dysfunction, skincare and more.

We’re a patient-driven, direct to consumer, digital healthcare company that puts patients in control of their health and wellbeing, as well as making healthcare more accessible for all Canadians.

Description

We are looking for innovative Nurse Practitioners, with great generalist experience, and a passion for Mental Health, to join our growing team of healthcare providers. If that sounds like you, we want to hear from you!

You must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in at least one province in Canada. Preference will be given to NPs with multiple licensing, or with licensing that meets our current needs.

Advantages of joining Felix:

  • Felix-ability: You pick the hours you want to work

  • 100% remote: from the comfort of your home, on your laptop, computer or even on your mobile and tablets.

  • Unlimited vacation: take what you want, when you want it

  • Leading virtual medicine provider in Canada: work at the cutting edge of virtual healthcare

  • Professional Development: plenty of opportunities to connect and learn from some of Canada’s leading physicians

  • Safety is our priority: our platform is secure for both the patient and health professional and has been purpose built to comply with PHIPA privacy regulations.

  • Intuitive platform: the Felix platform is easy to use, plus HCPs have continuous on-hand engineering and clinical support available to them.

Who you are:

  • A licensed Nurse Practitioner in at least one Canadian province, preferably with multiple province licensure.

  • You are a member in good standing of the College(s) where you hold the title of Nurse Practitioner.

  • You are physically located in Canada, with a billing number, required for ordering laboratory testing.

  • You have at least 2+ years of Nurse Practitioner experience, with demonstrated experience providing menopause care.

  • Additional certifications or training in the Mental Health field is a plus.

  • You are available to provide a minimum of 8 hours per week on the platform, in addition to logging in a minimum of every 48hrs to address patient updates.

  • You maintain confidentiality and follow the code of conduct as per the governing body of their province/territory.

  • You have experience in telemedicine. Additional experience in weight loss & metabolic health, mental health, erectile dysfunction, and birth control care are assets.

  • You have a proficient understanding of technology, EMRs and remote work.

  • You are adaptable and open to change.

Compensation

  • Nurse practitioners are compensated on a per assessment basis

Our commitment to an inclusive team culture means embracing diversity and offering equitable access to opportunities and resources for people who might otherwise be excluded. During our recruitment process, we provide accommodations at any stage. Candidates can communicate their accommodation needs to the hiring manager directly or by emailing accessibility@felixforyou.ca.
