Overview
As Director of Analytics, you will guide our studio insights team on the Skate Franchise, partnering with data engineering and data architecture to shape the future of live‑service games. You will lead a team of analysts who are the face of our Data & Insights organization, working directly with studio leaders to improve player experience and business outcomes. You will help us modernize our analytics approach, championing new ways of working and responsible human‑first AI adoption.
Responsibilities
- You will hire, coach, and retain a team of analysts, setting the bar for analytical rigor, insight quality, and partnership with studio leaders.
- You will translate ambiguous product and business questions into clear recommendations, guiding partners through tradeoffs and decision‑ready narratives.
- You will set the analytics vision for the studio, focusing us on high‑value questions across player experience, retention, engagement, monetization, and game health.
- You will improve speed‑to‑insights by promoting modern analytics tools, responsible AI/LLM use, and refined measurement strategies for features and live ops.
- You will advocate for integration of personalized data‑driven experiences into the game.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or related fields, including live service games or digital products
- 4+ years of experience leading analysts or data teams and influencing senior partners through data‑driven insights
- Analytical and technical skills, including SQL, Python or R, experimentation frameworks, and statistical analysis
- Experience applying GenAI, copilots, or agentic workflows to improve analytics productivity, automate workflows, and accelerate insight generation
Compensation And Benefits
Pay ranges for this role in Canada (in good faith) are listed below. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant factors.
- British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$160,700 - $224,700 CAD
- Ontario *$160,700 - $216,800 CAD
Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top‑up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full‑time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
