Eurofins Experchem Laboratories Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Driver & Depot Operations Coordinator to join our team in Toronto Canada.
As a key member of the operations team you will serve as an important link between our clients field teams depot operations and laboratory network. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining sample integrity delivering exceptional customer service supporting depot operations and ensuring all sample transportation activities are completed safely efficiently and in compliance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Sample Transportation & Logistics
- Safely transport environmental samples supplies and documentation between the North York Depot Eurofins laboratories client locations and designated collection points throughout the GTA.
- Ensure all sample transportation activities are conducted in accordance with chain-of-custody requirements quality standards and established operating procedures.
- Maintain sample integrity by adhering to temperature control requirements handling protocols and delivery timelines.
- Plan and execute daily routes efficiently while adapting to changing priorities and urgent client requests.
- Perform vehicle inspections and ensure company vehicles are maintained in a clean safe and professional condition.
Client Service & Sample Collection Support
- Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with clients laboratories and internal stakeholders.
- Support the pickup and delivery of environmental samples from commercial industrial municipal and consulting clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding pickup schedules sample requirements and delivery timelines.
- Escalate customer concerns or operational issues promptly to management.
Depot Operations Support
- Assist with receiving organizing and processing incoming sample submissions.
- Verify sample documentation and support sample login procedures to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor and manage sample storage areas and submission lockers.
- Support end-of-day depot closing activities including reviewing submissions and preparing shipments for laboratory transport.
- Answer client inquiries and provide operational support as required.
Operational Excellence & Compliance
- Follow all health and safety policies quality procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate transportation and operational records.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency service quality and operational performance.
- Work collaboratively with laboratory personnel couriers client services and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications :
Required
- Valid Ontario Class G drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving courier logistics delivery field service or transportation experience.
- Strong knowledge of the Greater Toronto Area road network and route planning.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high degree of accountability.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications including Excel Word Outlook and mobile technology.
- Ability to frequently lift carry and move coolers and equipment weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety quality and customer service.
Preferred
- Experience handling environmental laboratory scientific healthcare or regulated materials.
- Familiarity with chain-of-custody procedures and sample handling requirements.
- Previous experience working in a laboratory depot logistics transportation or environmental services environment.
- Knowledge of environmental testing services and sample collection processes.
