Live-In Cleaner

We are currently seeking a Live-In Property Cleaner to join our operations team at our newly acquired Weston Road community in North York. This hands-on role is ideal for a dependable cleaning professional with strong customer service skills who enjoys contributing to a vibrant community of over 200 residents. As a live-in team member you will be responsible for maintaining all building areas and ensuring that shared spaces remain clean modern well-maintained and welcoming for residents.

Our Weston Road community consists of two conjoined apartment buildings with on-site amenities including laundry facilities parking and security systems supporting the day-to-day operations of a large residential community. The property is situated in a well-connected urban corridor with direct access to TTC transit at the doorstep and nearby GO service as well as convenient access to major highways. The surrounding community includes a mix of residential and commercial amenities such as shopping centres schools healthcare services and recreational spaces with parks and trails along the Humber River located nearby.

Responsibilities

In addition to the duties typically expected of a cleaning professional responsibilities will include;

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping mopping vacuuming and dusting.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms laundry rooms and common areas to ensure high hygiene standards.
• Empty garbage and ensure that waste is disposed of safely and properly.
• Perform occasional deep cleaning including scrubbing baseboards cleaning appliances and refinishing floors.
• Respond to any cleaning work orders submitted by the property management team.
• Occasionally engage in snow removal during winter months.
• Report any maintenance or repair issues to the property operations team.
• Follow all safety protocols and use all assigned personal protective equipment appropriately.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial or residential cleaning janitorial services or housekeeping is considered a strong asset but is not required.
• Ability to perform a variety of repetitive physical tasks including bending kneeling lifting and walking for extended periods of time.
• Basic English verbal communication skills.
• Friendly respectable and community-minded with strong interpersonal skills.
• Must be eligible to successfully complete a Criminal Record Check (CRC) as a condition of employment.
• Ability to provide professional references and have a proven record of reliable work attendance.

Our Team What You Can Expect

• Most of the work completed will be at 2220-2222 Weston Road North York Ontario M9N 1YZ. However you may be required to occasionally work at neighboring properties. Work location will always be at the discretion of the employer.
• This role requires continuous on-call availability including evenings weekends and holidays to address emergency situations and urgent resident needs.

The expected base salary for this position is between $30000 - $35000 per year. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including skills experience internal equity and other job-related requirements. In addition to an annual salary employees will be provided with a residential unit valued at an estimated market rate of $2000$2400 per month. CLV employees also participate in a comprehensive benefits program including health dental and prescription drug coverage for both employees and their dependents.
