Senior Business Systems Analyst (Guidewire) PolicyCenter & BillingCenter

Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office at a minimum 3 days per week - subject to change at any time.

In this role you will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions with a strong focus on Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter Cloud implementations. You will play a key role in bridging business needs and technical delivery ensuring alignment clarity and successful outcomes.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end business analysis activities including requirements gathering analysis documentation and validation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product owners developers QA and stakeholders) to deliver solutions aligned with business objectives
Facilitate workshops interviews and discussions to elicit and refine business and system requirements
Produce high-quality documentation such as business requirements documents (BRDs) functional specifications process flows and user stories
Support Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter Cloud implementations enhancements and integrations
Manage and track timelines deliverables and dependencies ensuring alignment with project goals
Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure clear communication and shared understanding
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning backlog grooming and retrospectives
Support testing activities including UAT coordination defect management and validation of delivered functionality
Continuously identify process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst
Guidewire PolicyCenter and/or BillingCenter Cloud Certification
Proven experience working on Guidewire implementations or enhancements
Strong documentation analytical and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage timelines and deliverables in a fast-paced environment
Experience collaborating with cross-functional and distributed teams
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality


Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Qualifications
Experience in the insurance domain particularly with policy management systems
Familiarity with rating engines and pricing systems
Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum SAFe or similar frameworks)


CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level geographic market experience and training and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80000$130000. This role is an existing vacancy.
