What youll be doing

Join our CIBC Chief Administrative Office team and help drive CIBCs digital transformation. As part of this team youll play a key role in supporting regulatory supervision activities. As a Regulatory Supervision Co-op youll issue queries to stakeholders manage the teams mailbox and help generate and analyze reports to ensure compliance and effective oversight. Youll leverage your skills in Power BI Power Apps and Microsoft Office to organize information and contribute to process improvements. This role offers a valuable opportunity to learn about regulatory functions within a large financial institution and gain hands-on experience in business operations. Youll work closely with experienced professionals and participate in a collaborative environment developing your technical and analytical abilities.

How youll succeed

• Mailbox Management Monitor and manage the regulatory supervision mailbox ensuring timely responses and proper organization of communications.

• Query Issuance Issue queries to stakeholders track responses and follow up as needed to support regulatory processes.

• Report Generation and Analysis Create analyze and distribute reports using Power BI Power Apps and Microsoft Office to support compliance and operational decisions.

• Data Organization Maintain accurate records and organize information to support regulatory activities.

• Collaboration Work with team members and stakeholders to resolve issues and contribute to process improvements.

Who you are

• Youre a strong communicator. You can clearly convey information both verbally and in writing and are comfortable interacting with a variety of stakeholders.

• You have technical proficiency. You have experience with Power BI Power Apps and Microsoft Office and can use these tools to generate and analyze reports.

• Youre detail-oriented. You pay close attention to accuracy and organization when managing communications and reports.

• Youre eager to learn. Youre pursuing a degree or diploma in business or commerce and are motivated to gain hands-on experience in regulatory supervision.

• Youre collaborative. You work well in a team environment and contribute positively to group goals.
