Job description

We're excited to be opening our 7th clinic in Downtown Toronto at Wellington & Front in late September/October 2026. If you're looking for the opportunity to grow alongside a collaborative team, contribute to a brand-new clinic, and make a meaningful impact from day one, we'd love to hear from you.

Physiotherapist.

Build More Than A Caseload. Build A Career.

Most clinics just focus on getting you busy. At Axis, we help you build a thriving caseload while becoming the best clinician and professional you can be.

With established systems, strong community relationships, and dedicated administrative support, our goal is to help clinicians build a quality caseload with confidence.

Through structured mentorship, proven development systems, leadership opportunities, and a highly supportive team, we've built an environment designed to help you grow faster than you thought possible. If you're ambitious, curious, committed to becoming the best clinician you can be, and looking for a clinic that will invest in your future, we'd love to meet you.

Recent graduates and experienced Physiotherapist are encouraged to apply.

The Opportunity

As a Physiotherapist at Axis, you'll report directly to the Clinic Director. We're looking for individuals who exude positivity, embrace new challenges, and thrive in a collaborative environment. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Delivering exceptional, evidence-informed physiotherapy
  • Developing meaningful relationships with clients and establishing treatment goals
  • Educating clients and empowering them throughout their recovery
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
  • Participating in mentorship, team development, and community initiatives

Why Clinicians Choose Axis

We believe success isn't measured by how quickly we fill your schedule. It's measured by the therapist, leader, and professional you become. Most clinics stop investing in you once you're busy. We don't. Development isn't a recruiting promise at Axis. It's part of our infrastructure.

Today, Axis includes:

  • 7 clinics across the GTA and growing
  • 100+ teammates
  • 4,000+ five-star reviews
  • A culture that has remained strong as we've grown from one clinic to seven
  • 100,000+ treatment sessions delivered annually
  • Structured mentorship designed to improve clinician confidence and client outcomes
  • A clear career path designed to help you grow

Many of our Clinic Directors, Lead Therapists, and Partners started as staff clinicians at Axis. As we continue to grow, so do the opportunities available to our team.

What Makes Axis Different

Many organizations can teach you how to treat injuries. Far fewer can teach you how to:

  • Build and sustain a thriving caseload
  • Communicate with confidence
  • Lead a team
  • Mentor others
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
  • Think like an owner
  • Create opportunities for yourself
  • Grow beyond the treatment room

Our goal isn't simply to help you become a better Physiotherapist. Our goal is to help you become an exceptional professional.

How We Invest In You

Mentorship is frequently promised in healthcare. At Axis, it's built into our foundation.
Our clinicians receive access to:

  • Axis Basecamp™ – our structured 12-week onboarding program designed to accelerate your confidence through hands-on skill development, clinical reasoning, communication training, and mentorship from experienced leaders.
  • Movement Blueprint™ – our proprietary assessment and treatment framework used by every therapist at Axis to deliver consistent, trackable care through functional movement testing and standardized progressions designed to help clients understand the "why" behind their symptoms.
  • Foundations of Acupuncture & Dry Needling - our in-house certification program
  • Clinical Mentorship & Development Meetings
  • Quarterly Skills Socials - where clinicians come together from all locations to up their skills
  • In-house marketing support – professional filming and editing to help you build your reputation and personal brand.
  • Community outreach opportunities - to help stay connected to collaborate with others within the community
  • Leadership Development Pathways – a structured program designed to help ambitious clinicians move into leadership with confidence.
  • Continuing Education Funding – because great clinicians never stop learning

And most importantly,

  • Dedicated administrative support - Our front desk teams aren't separate from our clinicians. They're part of the care team.

From scheduling and recalls to client experience and rebooking, our administrative teams work relentlessly behind the scenes so clinicians can focus on what they do best: delivering exceptional care. It's one of the reasons therapists choose to stay and grow with us.

As our organization grows, so do the opportunities available to our team. Many of our leaders started as clinicians, and we're committed to developing the next generation of leaders within our profession.

What We're Looking For

  • Registered and in good standing with the appropriate regulatory college in Ontario
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to continuous learning
  • Passion for professional growth
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Positive, team-first mindset
  • Passion for delivering exceptional client care
  • Desire to contribute to something bigger than yourself

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Fee Split
  • Casual Athletic Work Attire
  • Continuing Education Funding
  • Ongoing Mentorship & Leadership Development
  • In-House Marketing Support
  • Dedicated Administrative Support
  • On-Site Gym Access
  • Staff Treatment Discounts
  • Mental health benefits via Inkblot
  • Bonus Incentives for Staff Referrals
  • Quarterly Staff Socials (Yacht Parties, BBQs, Formal Xmas Gala/Awards, etc.)
  • Partner Discounts with Preferred Vendors (SPOT Pet Insurance, Goodlife, Empire Custom Tailored Suits, etc.)

Build More Than A Caseload. Build A Career.

Many clinicians join Axis for the mentorship. They stay because they realize they can build an entire career here.
Your first job shouldn't just make you busy. It should change the trajectory of your career. If you're looking for a place that will challenge you, invest in you, and help you become the clinician and leader you're capable of being, we'd love to meet you.
