  • Respectfully question the status quo to determine if there are new or better solutions to be considered
  • Develop programs and initiatives on a national scale aligned with Colliers’ strategies and clients’ objectives
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize construction processes, drive operational efficiencies, and reduce project costs without compromising quality
  • Ensure teams are aware of and in full compliance with all regulatory requirements, including building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to senior construction managers and teams, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting collaboration and accountability
  • Attract, retain, motivate, and inspire a high-performing team and create a succession plan to support future growth
  • Demonstrate and act as a role model and influencer of our values and cultural behaviors
  • Monitor project performance across the country and prepare regular reports to senior leadership on budget, timeline, risks, and potential issues
  • Position REMS Canada as an industry leader by participating in industry events and conferences
  • Participate in media publications regarding construction and project management
  • Develop national standards, KPIs, guidance, and tools for project management
  • Co-develop and implement operational plans and tools to carry out long-term business strategy for the Construction Project Management group
  • Support and coach the professional development of practitioners assigned to projects in your portfolio
  • Understand market conditions across Canada, and assist in the development of regional plans
