Job description
Lead before and after school care programs with PLASP Child Care Services in Scarborough, ON. Your role will involve supervising staff and creating engaging activities for children aged 0-12. As the Program Director, you’ll be responsible for establishing a nurturing environment that promotes children's development. With a minimum of three years' experience in childcare and a focus on planning stimulating activities, you will ensure compliance with the Child Care Early Years Act and PLASP guidelines. Your work will make a significant impact on children's lives and their families. Key Responsibilities: • Create a safe and welcoming environment for children • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities • Manage budgeting and food preparation for the program • Supervise and train staff while conducting performance appraisals • Maintain all program administration and compliance with regulations Requirements: • Minimum 3 years’ childcare experience, supervisory preferred • RECE registration and ECE degree/diploma • Valid Standard First Aid Certificate, level C CPR • Clear Criminal Reference Check – Vulnerable Sector • Compliance with health requirements based on CCEYA Be a leader in early childhood education and drive exceptional programs at PLASP Child Care. #J-18808-Ljbffr
