Ice Cream Attendant Seasonal (Part Time)

We are currently hiring for a Part Time Seasonal Ice Cream Attendant. The Ice Cream Attendant is required to work closely with the Food and Beverage team to ensure a successful experience for our guests. This position is responsible for scooping ice cream, prepare orders, maintain a clean workspace, and ensure every guest leaves with a smile.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Scoop ice cream and prepare orders quickly and accurately
• Handle cash and card transactions with precision
• Maintain a clean and organized serving area in compliance with health standards
• Engage with customers to provide recommendations and enhance their experience
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak hours
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations

What We are Looking for...

• Post-secondary Food and Beverage/Hospitality/culinary education preferred;
• Knowledge and experience with menu costing and food and beverage cost controls;
• Established relationships with local food and beverage suppliers an asset;
• Experience in a unionized environment preferred;
• Strong track record in menu and service design;
• Hands-on approach to training and a leadership style committed to developing and motivating the culinary team to attain a superior level of guest service;
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure;
• Ability to achieve deadlines while focusing on departmental/hotel fiscal results;
• Proficient in EXCEL, Microsoft Word/Office/Outlook;
• Ability to work cohesively with all team members in all departments.
