Stafingo is hiring on behalf of our client in the public sector healthcare space for an experienced Senior Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer to support enterprise‑scale digital platform initiatives and modernization programs.

Compensation: $110.00–$135/hour (depending on skills and experience)
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, administering, and supporting enterprise‑grade Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
This role requires deep expertise in:
- AEM component and template development
- OSGi services and dependency injection
- Apache Sling architecture
- Dispatcher and Apache configuration
- Workflows, servlets, event handlers, and integrations
- Enterprise content management and DAM/WCM solutions
You will work closely with architects, UX teams, business stakeholders, and cross‑functional delivery teams to build scalable, secure, and maintainable AEM solutions in a complex enterprise healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement scalable AEM solutions using enterprise best practices
Build reusable AEM components, templates, Sling Models, dialogues, and client libraries using:
Develop and maintain:
- OSGi services
- Servlets
- Event handlers/listeners
- Workflow components
- Schedulers and background services
Configure and administer:
- AEM Author and Publish environments
- Dispatcher and Apache configurations
- Caching and security filtering strategies
Develop integrations with enterprise and external systems using SOAP‑based web services.
Support:
- CRX/JCR repository management
- DAM and WCM functionality
- User/group administration and permissions
Participate across the complete SDLC:
- Requirements gathering
- Development
- Deployment
- Documentation
- Knowledge transfer
Troubleshoot production issues and perform:
- Root cause analysis
- Performance optimization
- Security and stability improvements
Collaborate with:
- Business stakeholders
- UX/UI teams
- Solution architects
- Developers
- QA and support teams
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of overall IT experience with strong enterprise AEM expertise
- Deep hands‑on experience with:
- AEM Template Development
- HTL/Sightly
- AEM APIs
- Apache Sling Architecture
- Servlets, Workflows, Event Handlers
- CRX/JCR Content Repository
- WCM & DAM concepts
- Dispatcher & Apache configuration
Strong experience in:
- AEM architecture, installation, administration, and troubleshooting
- SOAP‑based web service integrations
- SDLC ownership from requirements through deployment
- Content governance and user/group administration
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving capabilities
Nice to Have
- Public sector or healthcare industry experience
- Exposure to AEM performance tuning and security best practices
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Experience supporting Adobe Analytics or Discourse integrations
