Job description
Lead cybersecurity at Humber Polytechnic as the Chief Information Security Officer. Shape and execute critical information security operations while managing on-site and hybrid teams across multiple platforms. Humber Polytechnic seeks a dynamic and experienced Chief Information Security Officer to steer its cybersecurity strategy. This full-time role focuses on safeguarding institutional data and ensuring regulatory compliance while managing significant cybersecurity risks. You will lead a team of security professionals and represent Humber in external cybersecurity engagements and forums. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute comprehensive information security strategies • Manage cybersecurity frameworks and respond to emerging threats • Provide expert counsel to the executive team on security issues • Oversee incident response and security program administration • Foster communication with regulatory bodies and external partners Requirements: • Master’s degree in information security or related field • Minimum 10 years of experience in information security • At least 5 years in senior leadership roles • Proven experience with cybersecurity policy development • Strong strategic planning and resource management skills Drive transformational security solutions at Humber and make a lasting impact on its academic mission. #J-18808-Ljbffr
