The Opportunity
We are seeking a Director of Supply Chain & Materials Management to lead and optimize all aspects of our supply chain operations. This is a critical leadership role responsible for inventory strategy, procurement, supplier management, and warehouse operations—ensuring seamless support for production and after-sales service.
You will play a key role in driving cost efficiency, improving processes, and building a high-performing team while aligning supply chain strategy with company growth objectives.
What You’ll Do
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing supply chain team
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and performance management
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
Supply Chain Strategy
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with business goals
- Establish and track KPIs to measure operational performance
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, Planning, and Customer Service
Supplier & Procurement Management
- Oversee sourcing, supplier selection, and contract negotiations
- Manage RFP processes and supplier performance evaluations
- Build and maintain strong, strategic supplier relationships
Cost Optimization & Continuous Improvement
- Lead initiatives to reduce costs, improve quality, and increase efficiency
- Optimize inventory turnover and reduce waste
- Implement continuous improvement methodologies across operations
Inventory & Warehouse Operations
- Ensure optimal inventory levels and material availability
- Improve inventory control systems and reporting
- Manage obsolete, non-conforming, and warranty-related materials
- Oversee warehouse operations and material flow throughout the plant
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or inventory management within manufacturing
- 8+ years of leadership experience
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Deep knowledge of supply chain planning, inventory management, and Lean principles
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and strong Excel skills
- Professional certifications (e.g., ACGA) are an asset
- French language proficiency (fluent) is required
