Market Analyst

Company : Alstom

At Alstom, we understand transport networks and what moves people. From high-speed trains, metros, monorails, and trams, to turnkey systems, services, infrastructure, signalling and digital mobility, we offer our diverse customers the broadest portfolio in the industry. Every day, 80,000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.

Could you be the full-time hybrid Market Analyst in Saint-Bruno we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in market data analysis and strategic intelligence in a cutting-edge and ever-evolving field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and dynamic teammates and play a key role in delivering insights that shape Alstom’s strategic and operational decisions.

You’ll help guide Alstom’s understanding of market trends and performance. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams such as sales, business development, and marketing, to share actionable insights. You’ll also support the development and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to competitive and strategic intelligence efforts.

You’ll specifically take care of market research and data analysis, but also of communicating your findings to internal stakeholders.

We’ll look to you for :

  • Collecting and analyzing market data from both internal and external sources
  • Developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Calculating market shares by platform or region
  • Conducting strategic market monitoring to track trends and developments
  • Analyzing market trends at regional, platform, and global levels
  • Monitoring the competitive landscape to identify emerging patterns
  • Communicating trends and KPI results to internal stakeholders
  • Creating clear and coherent documents to present analytical findings
  • Ensuring consistency and traceability of collected data

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role :

  • Degree in business or a relevant field
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to use, refine, and develop market modeling tools
  • Strong ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
  • Commercial orientation and understanding of market needs and competitive trends
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize clear presentations for top management and commercial teams
  • Knowledge of a language other than French is an asset for facilitating communication with our international partners, suppliers, colleagues, and clients. In Quebec, however, French remains the primary working language of our company
  • Things you’ll enjoy

Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also :

  • Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from boring daily routines
  • Work with passionate teams driving the transition to sustainable mobility
  • Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues
  • Contribute to innovative and strategic projects
  • Utilise our flexible and inclusive working environment
  • Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries
  • Benefit from our investment in your development, through award-winning learning
  • Progress towards roles with greater responsibility or specialized expertise
  • Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognizes your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension)
  • You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!

    Important to note

As a global business, we’re an equal-opportunity employer that celebrates diversity across the 63 countries we operate in. We’re committed to creating an inclusive workplace for everyone
