Job description
Lead Canadian tax compliance for Brookfield's real estate operations in Toronto, Ontario. As Senior Tax Director, you'll play a critical role in tax strategy and compliance management. In this important full-time position under the Vice President of Taxation, you will oversee compliance, provision, and audit readiness for a vast real estate business. This hands-on position involves close collaboration with key finance and legal stakeholders, making it an excellent opportunity for growth in your tax career while managing complex transactions and structures. Key Responsibilities: • Direct Canadian tax compliance for varied entities • Coordinate CRA tax audit responses and documentation • Maintain and guide legal and financing structures • Assist in quarterly tax provision process and documentation • Provide support on tax aspects of M&A transactions Requirements: • CPA designation and Master of Taxation or equivalent study • Minimum 8 years of corporate tax experience • Expertise in tax under IFRS and/or US GAAP • Experience managing Canadian tax compliance • Knowledge of EIFEL and real estate taxation is an asset Drive your tax expertise forward with Brookfield, making impactful decisions in a global environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
