Arup is a global consultancy with advisory and technical expertise across more than 150 disciplines. We guide, plan and design the future of the built environment. Globally, each year we recruit hundreds of interns to help us see things differently and solve the most complex challenges facing our clients, climate and communities.
The opportunity
- Assist in conducting searches for Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Expression of Interest (EOIs), and Request for Qualifications (RFQs)
- Manage content in databases related to proposals and client engagement
- Research and gather information for potential upcoming opportunities
- Research (internet-based) various markets to identify project leads
- Update and maintain information in our Client Relationship Management database
- Assist in preparing collateral materials
- Managing meeting bookings, crafting, and disseminating meeting minutes
- Assist with coordination and preparation of seminars, events, conferences and speaking opportunities

- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher (open to all majors- marketing, engineering, architectural studies, history, psychology, sociology, etc.,)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with the following computer applications: Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Creative Suite
- Must have strong collaboration skills and a proactive demeanor, with an ability to work within a team environment and with staff of all levels
- Availability to work flexible hours when occasionally required
- Knowledge of French is required for positions permanently located in Quebec so incumbents can communicate with their colleagues, clients, partners and suppliers in Quebec as necessary
- Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future
Preferred:
- Bilingualism is preferable – and required in some positions – to communicate with colleagues, clients, partners and suppliers located outside Quebec

Toronto Hiring Range – Hiring Range - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in Toronto is 20 to 38 per hour. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of Toronto will differ.
