Your Role

Reporting to the Executive Chef;

Radisson Blu Toronto Downtown is currently recruiting for a Part - Time Apprentice Cook! In this role, you will:

• Assist in the preparation and production of menu items in accordance with daily prep lists, BEOs, and Chef instructions.
• Support mise en place and perform basic cooking tasks, including preparing vegetables, sauces, and simple menu items.
• Follow standardized recipes, portion controls, and plating guidelines to maintain food quality and consistency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Support kitchen operations during service, including assisting cooks, monitoring prep levels, and ensuring timely food production.

What You Bring to the Table

• Previous kitchen, stewarding, or culinary experience is an asset but not required.
• Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork, communication skills, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain) and legal authorization to work in Canada.
