Job descriptionJob Description Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Partner plays a key role in attracting top talent to support Extendicare’s corporate teams. You will lead full-cycle recruitment, partner closely with hiring leaders, and act as a brand ambassador who elevates Extendicare’s presence across both professional and campus talent markets. Your curiosity, creativity, and relationship‑building skills will help position Extendicare as an Employer of Choice.
Location and Work Arrangement This role will be based at our head office in Markham, ON. Extendicare offers a hybrid working environment.
What you’ll do
Lead full-cycle recruitment for corporate roles, from intake to offer.
Partner with hiring leaders to shape role scope, refine job description language, and develop structured interview and assessment plans.
Align recruitment activity with headcount plans and hiring priorities, setting clear expectations on search strategy, pace, and pipeline health.
Drive campus recruitment initiatives, including school partnerships, campus events, and high-volume student hiring cycles.
Use data and analytics to identify trends, measure performance, and ensure recruitment KPIs are met.
Promote the Extendicare brand through online channels, networking, and recruitment events.
Maintain accurate candidate and requisition data in Workday ATS.
Support and lead projects that enhance Extendicare’s overall recruitment strategy and candidate experience.
What You Bring
2+ years of talent acquisition experience, ideally in healthcare, retail, hospitality, or other high-volume environments.
Direct experience in campus recruitment, including event coordination, school partnerships, or student hiring programs.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
A track record of identifying and implementing innovative sourcing and recruitment approaches.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple stakeholders.
Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
Experience with Workday is an asset.
Post-secondary degree or diploma (Human Resources, Business, or related).
