Position Overview

At Autodesk, data is the backbone of how we understand and engage our customers. As aData Strategiston theData Governance and Policy teamwithin Go-to-Market Data & Intelligence, you will act as theownerofour customer data,defining the roadmap, prioritizing problems, and ensuring our data is trustworthy,accurate, and able to support a wide range of business use cases.

You will translate pain points and requirements across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Product into a coherent data strategy. Through structured problem solving, clear prioritization, and close collaboration with Data Analysts, you will drive improvements that enhance thequality, clarity, and flexibilityof Autodesk’s customer data.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection ofdata, product thinking, and cross-functional alignment,and who wants to shape how Autodesk understands and engages its customers.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the customer data governance roadmapfor assigned area,aligning to Autodesk’s GTM strategy and operational needs

  • Identifyand prioritize customer data problems,incorporatingqualitative insights fromstakeholders, and quantitative analysis

  • Translate business use cases into clear data requirements,ensuring customer data is structured to support multiple workflows without conflict

  • Partner closely with Data Engineering and Architectureto evaluatesolution options

  • Define andmaintaindata policies, standards, and definitionsthat promote clarity and reduce ambiguity across systems

  • Facilitate alignment across Sales, Marketing, CustomerSuccessandFinance,andestablishfeedback loopsto ensuredecisions reflect cross-functional needs

  • Develop business cases for data improvements, including impact sizing, risk assessment, and expected outcomes

  • Define andmonitorkey success metricsfor data clarity, quality, flexibility, and usability

MinimumQualifications

  • 5+ years working in a data strategistor dataproduct managerrole

  • Experience with go-to-market data and systems, including account hierarchies

  • Knowledgeof data governance frameworks

  • Proficiencyin SQL and using data visualization tools likePowerBI

Responsabilités

  • Gérer et faire évoluer la feuille de route de gouvernance des données clients pour le domaine assigné, en l'alignant sur la stratégie GTM d'Autodesk et les besoins opérationnels

  • Identifier et hiérarchiser les problèmes liés aux données clients, en intégrant les insights qualitatifs des parties prenantes et l'analyse quantitative

  • Traduire les cas d'utilisation métier en exigences de données claires, en veillant à ce que les données clients soient structurées de manière à prendre en charge plusieurs workflows sans conflit

  • Collaborer étroitement avec les équipes d'ingénierie et d'architecture des données pour évaluer les options de solution

  • Définir et maintenir des politiques, des normes et des définitions relatives aux données qui favorisent la clarté et réduisent l'ambiguïté entre les systèmes

  • Faciliter l'alignement entre les équipes Ventes, Marketing, Réussite client et Finance, et mettre en place des boucles de rétroactionpour garantir que les décisions reflètent les besoins interfonctionnels

Qualifications minimales

  • Au moins 5 ans d'expérience dans un rôle de stratège en données ou de chef de produit données

  • Expérience des données et des systèmes de mise sur le marché, y compris les hiérarchies de comptes

  • Connaissance des cadres de gouvernance des données

  • Maîtrise de SQL et utilisation d'outils de visualisation des données tels que PowerBI

For Canada based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $79,000 and $115,500. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
