Employment Type: Full-TimePay Rate- $$55,000/yearAbout the RoleWCD Global Inc. and WCD Medical are growing national distributors of sanitation, hygiene, and medical products serving professional customers across Canada.We are seeking a Warehouse Associate (Certified Lift Operator) to support our daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping. This role is critical to ensuring accurate, safe, and efficient product handling in a fast-paced distribution environment.Key ResponsibilitiesReceiving & Put-AwayReceive inbound shipments and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase ordersInspect products for damage, expiry, lot/batch accuracy, and complianceAccurately record receipts in the warehouse system (e.g., NetSuite or RF scanning)Safely store products using proper equipment and warehouse layout protocolsOrder Picking & FulfillmentPick customer orders with a high level of accuracy and efficiencyFollow FEFO/FIFO principles where applicable (expiry-controlled products)Stage, label, wrap, and prepare shipments for outbound deliverySupport small parcel and pallet shipmentsShippingVerify order accuracy prior to shipmentPrepare shipping documentation (labels, packing slips, BOLs)Load outbound trucks safely and efficientlyEquipment OperationOperate forklifts and other material handling equipment safelyPerform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance reportingInventory & AccuracySupport cycle counts and inventory auditsMaintain accurate lot, batch, and expiry tracking where requiredWarehouse Maintenance & SafetyMaintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environmentFollow all health & safety procedures, including PPE requirementsParticipate in safety meetings and continuous improvement initiativesRequired QualificationsCertified forklift / lift equipment operator (valid certification required)Minimum 3-4 years of warehouse experience (receiving and shipping preferred)Experience working in a distribution environment (medical, hygiene, or CPG is an asset)Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periodsBasic computer skills (ERP/WMS experience is an asset)Core CompetenciesWe are looking for candidates who demonstrate:Safety Compliance – Adheres strictly to all safety procedures and protocolsWMS- Previous experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is required to receive, put away, locate, pick, pack, transfer, and ship inventory.Equipment Operation & Maintenance – Operates equipment safely and responsiblyPicking Accuracy – Maintains high accuracy in order fulfillmentShipping/Receiving Accuracy – Ensures precise verification and documentationProductivity – Meets or exceeds daily performance targetsTeamwork – Works collaboratively in a team-oriented environmentReliability / Dependability – Consistent attendance and strong work ethicHousekeeping – Maintains clean and organized work areasCommunication – Clear and professional communication with team membersProcess Compliance – Follows established SOPs and warehouse proceduresWhat We OfferCompetitive compensationStable, growing company with advancement opportunitiesSupportive team environmentTraining and development in warehouse systems and processesWCD welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities up to the point of undue hardship.
