Senior Finance Project Manager- Integration/Change (18-Month Contract)

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The Senior Finance Project Manager operates as the primary delivery lead for the Estée Lauder Finance Integration. This role is responsible for the end-to-end integration of the financial workstreams, ensuring DECIEM’s financial integrity remains intact while transitioning into the Estée Lauder ecosystem. The successful candidate will drive timely, objective decision-making and act as the single point of contact between DECIEM stakeholders and the Estée Lauder Global PMO.

This position is based out of our Head Office located in Liberty Village and will allow candidates to work on-site 3 - 4 days per week.

This is a contract position that is scheduled to end in September 2027.

PAY RANGE

The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $100.00 to $120.00 CAD per hour. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location.

WHAT YOU'D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

• Best‑Practice PMO Delivery: Accountable for overall project planning, communicating, executing, testing, reporting, and deploying finance projects within a strict PM framework.
• Cross‑Functional Leadership: Exhibit strong program management skills, managing finance projects by engaging stakeholders through influence rather than organizational hierarchy.
• Issue & Risk Resolution: Surface critical risks/roadblocks and proactively drive them to resolution with consistent objectivity; escape to the VP of Finance when necessary to protect project timelines.
• M&A Acumen: Leverage previous M&A transition experience to navigate the complexities of organizational integration, ensuring DECIEM’s DNA is preserved during process standardization.
• Strategic Communication: Maintain transparent, accurate, and “executive‑ready” communications for Finance stakeholders and ELC counterparts.
• RAID Management: Build and maintain the Finance Integration RAID Log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) for all active projects.
• Master Schedules: Create and manage detailed Project Schedules in alignment with ELC project leads, broken down by key phases, depicting all major Milestones and Deliverables.
• Single Point of Contact: Act as the primary liaison for ELC Finance PMs, ensuring alignment on program plans, data migration audits, and “Go‑Live” readiness.
• Financial Process Design: Partner with internal leads and ELC partners to redefine workflows (e.g., Procure‑to‑pay, Treasury, SOX controls) to ensure they are sustainable post‑integration.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

• Experience: 8+ years of progressive Finance with proven PMO leadership experience, specifically within global or multi‑brand organizations (Retail/CPG preferred).
• M&A Expertise: Proven track record of managing at least two full‑lifecycle financial integrations or large‑scale ERP transformations.
• Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting; PMP or PRINCE2 certification required.
• Systems Knowledge: High proficiency in SAP, or similar tools.
• Finance: Have a strong understanding of FP&A, Supply Chain Finance, Accounting controllership and key processes; understanding of a multi‑national full end to end business.
