About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our Commercial Solutions Product Management team, where data and analytics play a key role in shaping product strategy and client solutions. While part of Product Management, this is a hands‑on data and analytics role focused on delivering high‑quality analysis and data‑driven solutions. This role combines data analysis, business & product analysis, and client‑focused solution delivery. You will work across Product, Sales, Technology, and clients to understand problems, shape the right approach, and deliver actionable outputs. You will operate as a thought partner, helping define problems, clarify requirements, and translate them into effective data solutions, while owning delivery end‑to‑end. A critical part of this role is protecting and strengthening our core data offerings. This includes ownership of recurring and ad‑hoc data deliverables, ensuring consistent quality, reliability, and continuous improvement. You will also contribute to revenue growth by supporting custom data solutions, enabling product initiatives, and providing analytical input into new data‑driven offerings.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Analyze data to generate insights that support product, client, and business decisions
  • Translate business needs into analytical approaches (requirements, use cases, impacts)
  • Design and deliver data solutions (queries, datasets, reports - recurring and ad‑hoc)
  • Own outputs end‑to‑end, ensuring accuracy, quality, and usability
  • Maintain and improve recurring data deliverables, protecting core revenue streams
  • Partner with Product and Sales on custom data solutions, business cases, and new offerings
  • Support research and analysis that informs product strategy and market insights
  • Collaborate across Product, Sales, Technology, and clients to align on priorities and outcomes
  • Communicate insights clearly through presentations, dashboards, and reports
  • Improve and optimize workflows using modern tools, automation, and AI‑assisted approaches
  • Provide ongoing guidance, mentorship, and quality oversight to junior team members, helping elevate team output and consistency

About You

You are an experienced analyst who brings together strong technical skills, sound business judgment, and clear communication.

Technical Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative fields (E.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering)
  • 5+ years of experience in data, analytics, or business/data roles
  • Experience working with both business and technical stakeholders
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Excel is required
  • Experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience working with large datasets and data modelling
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms and tools
  • Experience using automation or AI‑assisted tools to improve workflows, efficiency, and output quality
  • Understanding of real estate and mortgage lending data, land registration concepts, and property‑related datasets is considered an asset
  • Knowledge of GIS concepts and experience using spatial analysis tools such as ArcGIS is considered an asset

Core Capabilities

  • Strong analytical thinking across data, business, and product problems
  • Ability to break down problems, gather requirements, and assess impacts
  • Hands‑on experience delivering end‑to‑end data solutions
  • Clear communication of insights and recommendations
  • Ability to manage priorities and deliver high‑quality work independently
  • Strong problem‑solving and critical thinking, with a solution‑oriented mindset
  • Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and initiative in driving outcomes
  • A natural inclination to mentor and support others, taking responsibility for team quality and development without needing direction
  • Curiosity and willingness to explore and adopt new tools and approaches, including AI‑assisted capabilities
