We are seeking a Senior Adobe Target Growth Developer to join the Okta Digital Engineering team. Our mission: we seek to enable other teams in the organization in order to scale and achieve their goals through experimentation and the creation of new experiences. This team handles the final customer-facing experiences for the Okta marketing websites, which has Million Plus visits monthly.
As a Senior Adobe Target Growth Developer, you will be a critical part of our experimentation pipeline, contributing from ideation (in collaboration with product teams) through implementation, analysis, and iteration. This includes designing technical solutions and end to end experiences with a strong emphasis on integrating AEM with Adobe Target for seamless experimentation and personalization.

You will:
● Drive end-to-end experimentation initiatives, collaborate with product managers and marketers to ideate, design, implement, and analyze AB tests and personalization strategies using Adobe Target and AEM, contributing to all phases from planning to release.
● Collaborate with backend developers to define and implement necessary backend API’s and data models to support the frontend experimentation needs.
● Design, develop, and implement AEM components and frontend solutions to support complex experimentation scenarios, ensuring seamless integration with Adobe Target and optimal performance.
● Design and develop data models, frontend logic, and APIs within the AEM framework to support dynamic, interactive, and data-driven web applications, enabling robust frontend experimentation and personalization.
● Contribute to comprehensive documentation, including API documentation, data models, and frontend system architecture, with a particular focus on the implementation of experimentation features and the integration with Adobe Target.
● Maintain a high awareness of industry trends, especially in AEM frontend development, Adobe Target, AB testing methodologies, and frontend technologies, and proactively share knowledge to improve our experimentation processes and AEM infrastructure.

● Have + years of professional experience implementing and managing A/B testing and personalization using Adobe Target
● Have a solid understanding of AEM frontend development, including component creation, client-side scripting, and integration with AEM's data layer.
● Have + years of professional experience with HTML: valid HTML, semantic markup, accessibility best practices, and leveraging relevant APIs.
● Have + years of professional experience with CSS: advanced CSS, layout techniques, responsive design principles, animations, and preprocessors.
● Experience with AEM’s front-end templating languages and methodologies (, HTL/Sightly).
● Have a general understanding of AEM backend concepts (like OSGi services and data models) to support frontend experimentation needs.
● Demonstrated proficiency in JavaScript: asynchronous programming, DOM manipulation, ES+ features, and modern JavaScript patterns.
● Experience with AEM client libraries and front-end build processes within AEM.
● Have strong Git experience and are comfortable with version control workflows.
