What We Do (The Team You’ll Be Part Of):
We are looking for an Event Production Technician to join the Digital Media Team. This team is responsible for the planning, technical production, execution, and post-event delivery of on-location, virtual, and hybrid events. This includes webcasts, livestreams, webinars, virtual conferences, and studio-based productions. The team manages professional video production and broadcast equipment, event platforms, and workflows, continually advancing Fidelity’s digital event capabilities.
How You’ll Make An Impact:
• Lead virtual and hybrid event production, including planning, producing, and technically executing live and recorded digital events.
• Serve as a technical producer during live events, managing run-of-show, speakers, production systems, and troubleshooting.
• Configure and operate cameras, lighting, audio equipment, encoders, switchers, and streaming platforms.
• Collaborate with Corporate Affairs, Product, Marketing, HR, Learning & Development, and additional internal partners.
• Edit and package recordings, repurpose content, and identify opportunities to improve event quality and attendee experience.
What We Are Looking For:
• Strong technical knowledge of digital event platforms, livestreaming solutions, and video signal flow.
• Hands-on experience with professional video production equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot live technical issues and manage event-day execution.
• Experience in video editing and basic motion graphics.
• Excellent communication skills with strong stakeholder and speaker-management abilities.
• Minimum 3+ years producing digital, virtual, or hybrid events.
• Two-year post-secondary program or equivalent experience.

For this role, your total rewards include:
Base Salary and Discretionary Performance Bonus: A competitive annual range of $94,000 to $111,000 based on your experience and qualifications.
RRSP Contribution: After 6 months of employment, we invest in your future with an RRSP contribution—no employee matching required.
