What you’ll be doing: Lead with Controllership Excellence Take ownership of the full financial reporting cycle—ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant results across monthly, quarterly, and annual closes. You’ll oversee the general ledger, balance sheet integrity, and all core accounting functions while continuously strengthening internal controls and ensuring compliance with both local and global reporting standards. You’ll also play a key role in managing audits, supporting tax compliance, and navigating multi-jurisdictional requirements with confidence.
Be a Strategic Partner to the Business This role sits at the intersection of finance and operations. You’ll work closely with Project Directors, Sales, and Operations leaders to translate financial data into actionable insights.From budgeting and forecasting to scenario analysis and performance tracking, you’ll help shape business strategy, proactively identify risks, and drive better decision-making. You’ll own project financials end-to-end—monitoring budgets, analyzing variances, and guiding corrective actions where needed.
Drive Insight, Systems, and Continuous Improvement Leverage tools like Power BI to deliver clear, impactful reporting and dashboards that elevate visibility across the business. You’ll also play a hands-on role in maintaining ERP data integrity, resolving issues, and improving overall financial processes. Additionally, you’ll contribute to bid processes—bringing financial rigor and insight to support smart, profitable growth.
Lead and Influence As a leader within the finance function, you’ll mentor your team while championing process improvements and driving efficiencies across systems and reporting. You’ll collaborate closely with FP&A, Treasury, and Shared Services to ensure alignment with broader corporate objectives and best practices.
What you bring - CPA designation (required)
- 4+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or audit
- 3+ years of people leadership experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial controls
- Experience with Dynamics 365 and Power BI is a strong asset
- Strong experience setting up and embedding financial controls within an organization is required
- Public Sector experience is preferred
- A proactive, business-minded approach with the ability to influence and partner across functions
