Dairy Sales SpecialistParrish & Heimbecker As we continue to grow our ruminant business with a strong focus on dairy cattle, we are looking to add additional dairy sales specialists to our team. New-Life Mills has an opportunity for a motivated, forward-thinking, and dedicated individual to join us as a Dairy Sales Specialist in Southwestern Ontario.New Life MillsAt New-Life Mills, we believe great feed builds great farms. Your RoleAs a Dairy Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building long‑term customer relationships within the dairy industry. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, supporting existing customers, and delivering feed and nutrition solutions that help producers achieve their business goals.Day to Day
  • Prospect and develop new dairy feed customers to grow market share
  • Promote New‑Life Mills programs, products, and services to meet producer needs
  • Maintain strong, trust‑based relationships with existing customers
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams including customer service, formulation, logistics, nutritionists, and veterinarians
  • Provide technical support related to feed products and usage
  • Complete ration balancing using available software in collaboration with the central nutrition team
  • Monitor account activity, address issues proactively, and support customer retention
  • Manage accounts receivable, collections, and days receivable outstanding
  • Attend industry events and organize producer meetings
  • Develop sales plans, forecasts, budgets, and maintain accurate CRM documentation
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Agribusiness, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Ability to travel independently to customer sites, industry events, and company locations.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Previous sales experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Canadian ruminant industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
