We transfer the warmth needed to make life work.We are seeking a detail‑oriented and hardworking Crate Builder to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing wooden crates and customized packaging solutions used to safely ship a wide variety of products. You will work closely with production, shipping, and logistics teams to ensure products are protected and packaged to company and customer specifications.This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands‑on work, take pride in craftsmanship, and thrive in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild wooden crates, boxes, and specialty packaging according to drawings, measurements, and production requirementsSafely operate carpentry and woodworking tools (saws, nail guns, drills, tape measures, sanders, etc.)Measure, cut, and assemble materials with accuracy and attention to detailPrepare products for shipment, including blocking, bracing, and securing materialsEnsure all crates meet quality, safety, and durability standardsRead and interpret work orders, blueprints, and material listsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaAssist with loading/unloading materials as requiredFollow all health & safety protocols and contribute to a culture of safetyQualificationsPrevious experience in crate building, carpentry, construction, or a similar hands‑on role preferredAbility to use hand tools and power tools safely and confidentlyStrong measurement, math, and problem-solving skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsComfortable working in a manufacturing or warehouse environmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable, punctual, and committed to high‑quality workmanship
