We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Specialist to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support, maintain system performance, and ensure the security and reliability of our IT infrastructure. You will be the go-to resource for resolving hardware, software, and network issues while helping implement new technologies that improve efficiency across the organization.
Provide technical support to staff, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and computer peripherals.
Monitor and manage system performance, backups, and security protocols.
Assist in maintaining network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control within company systems.
Implement and maintain cybersecurity best practices, including antivirus and patch management.
Collaborate with vendors and service providers for hardware, software, and network solutions.
Support deployment of new IT projects, upgrades, and technology initiatives.
Document IT processes, assets, and troubleshooting procedures.
Provide basic training to users on software applications and IT policies.
Required:
Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in IT support or system administration.
Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and common business applications.
Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
Preferred:
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and endpoint management.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional.
