Position Description:
We are Canada's largest independent information technology services firm, and after 45+ years, we're still growing! Join Canada's largest IT Company as a Kofax Developer, in our Financial Services Sector in Toronto.
Location - Mississauga (Hybrid - 2 days per week) - subject to change at any time.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Design, build, and support Kofax TotalAgility (TTA) workflows, including capture, classification, extraction, validation, and exception handling.
• Develop document automation solutions using Kofax Capture, Transformation Modules, OCR/ICR, and integrate with ECM/BPM systems.
• Implement and enhance automation using JavaScript, C#, .NET, Python, REST APIs, JSON/XML.
• Integrate Generative AI / AI ML tools (LLMs, document understanding, summarization, entity extraction) into document workflows.
• Support cloud enabled solutions (Azure/AWS/GCP), CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize performance in Kofax environments.
• Ensure compliance, security, and documentation standards within banking or regulated environments.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams and provide guidance to junior developers when needed.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Experience: 2+ years of overall IT experience, with 2+ years hands-on in Kofax TotalAgility (TTA) including Kofax Capture, Transformation Modules, and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP).
• Core Skills: Design, develop, and support Kofax TTA workflows, document classification, extraction, validation, exception handling, and end-to-end capture-to-ECM/BPM integrations.
• GenAI & AI Stack: Experience integrating Generative AI and AI/ML services into document workflows (LLMs, document understanding, summarization, entity extraction, conversational search).
Technical Stack:
• Languages & Scripting: JavaScript, .NET, C#, Python
• Platforms & Tools: Kofax TotalAgility, Kofax Capture, Kofax RPA, OCR/ICR, REST APIs, JSON/XML
• Cloud & DevOps: Azure/AWS/GCP, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker (nice to have)
• Strong experience in banking or regulated environments, including security, compliance, performance tuning, production support, documentation, and mentoring junior developers.
**CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $65,–$,. This role is an existing vacancy.
