This role will focus on analyzing the current state of modules, workflows, business processes, and reporting structures to recommend improvements and define a scalable future state. You will collaborate with business and technical teams to provide architectural guidance, define solution strategies, and support the overall technical direction of the Unit 4 platform. This position offers the flexibility of a remote work environment with strong potential for extension.What you will do:• Current State Review: Conduct a detailed assessment of the existing Unit 4 technical landscape including modules, configurations, processes, workflows, integrations, and reporting structures.• Architectural Strategy and Roadmap: Develop optimization strategies and solution roadmaps that improve performance, usability, scalability, and alignment with organizational goals.• Solution Design: Design future state architecture across functional and technical components including data flows, module interactions, workflow improvements, and reporting enhancements.• Technical Leadership: Provide guidance on ERP best practices, architectural standards, integration patterns, data models, and configuration principles within the Unit 4 platform.• Workflow and Process Optimization: Analyze business processes and workflow configurations, identify gaps, and recommend improved structures that simplify operations and increase efficiency.• Reporting and Data Structure Review: Assess reporting capabilities, data models, and information flows to improve accuracy, usability, and reporting frameworks.• Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work with business teams, IT teams, and vendors to review findings, translate needs into solution recommendations, and ensure alignment on architectural direction.• Documentation and Recommendations: Create clear documentation outlining findings, recommendations, architectural diagrams, and strategies for future enhancements.Requirements:• Experience:o Five years of experience as an ERP Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Senior ERP Consultanto Strong background working with Unit 4 or Agresso platforms across multi module environmentso Experience defining future state solutions, improving architectures, and leading ERP optimization initiativeso Experience in the healthcare sector is an asset• Technical Proficiency:o Strong understanding of Unit 4 configuration, integrations, workflows, and data structureso Experience with reporting design, data modeling, and workflow analysiso Ability to evaluate system performance, architectural risks, and improvement opportunities• Tools and Platforms:o Experience using Jira, Confluence, and similar tools for documentation and architectural planningo Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for diagrams, documentation, and analysiso Experience with Unit 4 reporting tools and integration frameworks is an asset• Methodologies and Practices:o Strong understanding of ERP architectural principles and best practiceso Experience working with Agile and collaborative delivery modelso Ability to create architectural documents, diagrams, and structured recommendations• Soft Skills:o Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilitieso Excellent communication skills for interacting with both technical and non technical stakeholderso Strong facilitation skills for guiding discussions and aligning architectural decisions
