The client is looking for an experienced Strategic Partnerships / Product Strategy Manager to drive the execution of payroll partnership programs and enable business growth through strategic relationships with key external partners. The role involves working closely with internal sales teams, marketing, and corporate support functions as well as external payroll partners to deliver strong business outcomes, improve referral performance, and support execution of go-to-market strategies across North America.
Must-Have Skills
• 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Strategic Partnerships, Business Development, or Sales Enablement
• Strong experience managing cross-functional stakeholders across sales, marketing, and corporate teams
• Experience working with external partners or vendors in a business or financial services environment
• Strong understanding of sales enablement, go-to-market execution, or partnership-driven growth models
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills with ability to work with data, build reports, and track performance metrics
• Experience coordinating campaigns, incentives, or partner-led sales programs
• Strong relationship management skills with ability to manage internal and external stakeholders effectively
• Ability to work in fast-paced, execution-focused environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
Responsibilities
• Drive execution of payroll partnership strategies to increase referral-based business growth
• Manage and strengthen relationships with key external partners including payroll providers such as ADP and Paychex
• Collaborate with internal sales teams to identify barriers and improve conversion of partner-generated leads
• Work with marketing, training, and sales effectiveness teams to design and execute campaigns, incentives, and enablement programs
• Track, analyze, and report performance metrics related to partnership success and business outcomes
• Develop insights from data to identify gaps, opportunities, and areas for improvement in partner performance
• Support the creation and distribution of sales tools, training materials, and marketing collateral
• Act as a key liaison between internal business teams and external partners to ensure alignment and execution of strategic goals
• Manage escalations and resolve operational issues impacting partnership performance
• Continuously improve partnership processes, reporting frameworks, and execution models
• Present updates, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders
