What will your typical day look like?

As a manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them navigate complex procurement, supply chain, and operating model transformation initiatives. You will work closely with senior client stakeholders to assess current capabilities, design future-state operating models, develop sourcing and procurement strategies, and deliver sustainable business outcomes. Drawing on your expertise across procurement and supply chain disciplines, you will help clients address their most pressing challenges while identifying opportunities to improve performance, enhance service delivery, and create long-term value.
In addition to client delivery, you will contribute to business development activities, including account planning, opportunity shaping, proposal development, thought leadership, and relationship building to support the continued growth of our practice.
In this role, your key responsibilities at the client will include:
• Designing and enhancing sourcing and procurement operating models through tailored assessments, maturity evaluations, and improvement roadmaps.
• Advising clients on sourcing strategies, supplier management frameworks, procurement transformation, and organizational design using leading practices.
• Leading and supporting complex transformation initiatives across Government & Public Services organizations, including federal, provincial, municipal, healthcare, and broader public sector entities.
• Facilitating stakeholder engagement, workshops, and executive discussions to build alignment and drive successful outcomes.
• Developing business cases, recommendations, and executive-level deliverables that support strategic decision-making.
• In this role, your key responsibilities in growing the practice will include:
• Contributing to business development activities through account planning, proposal development, opportunity shaping, and market eminence initiatives.
• Identifying process improvement opportunities, market trends, and emerging practices to help clients deliver sustainable value and continuous improvement
• Coaching and developing team members to enhance our delivery capability.

The Deloitte Supply Chain & Network Operations Consulting practice is the largest in the Canadian market and part of the largest consulting firm in the world. We work hand-in-hand with our clients from across industries to improve performance, drive shareholder value and create competitive advantage. Our work involves developing innovative recommendations to address client issues and presenting the findings to senior executives. Depending on the project, we evolve this storyline into a strategic roadmap and detailed project plan for execution. Ensuring client success does not stop there. We also collaborate with clients through the implementation to see the vision become a reality.

We are seeking an experienced Manager specializing in Supply Chain Sourcing and Procurement to join our consulting team

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are a procurement and supply chain professional who brings:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain management, Operations, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, and supply chain operations, with demonstrated expertise in at least three of the following areas: operating model design, maturity assessments, strategic sourcing, category management, supplier management, contract management, procurement transformation, or procurement technology enablement.
• Demonstrated consulting experience delivering end-to-end projects, ideally with a major consultancy firm.
• Experience leading and managing complex supply chain, procurement, or operating model transformation initiatives within Government & Public Services organizations, including federal, provincial, municipal, healthcare, or broader public sector entities.
• Strong understanding of emerging Government & Public Services priorities, trends, and their implications for operating models, procurement transformation, and organizational design.
• Demonstrated success advising executives on sourcing strategies, supplier management frameworks, procurement operating models, and organizational design within public sector environments.
• Ability to build trusted advisor relationships with senior client stakeholders and identify opportunities to expand and deepen client engagements.
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills, including the ability to develop compelling client-facing materials, points of view, and thought leadership.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and facilitation skills, with a track record of delivering measurable outcomes and sustainable value

Quebec Locations: Bilingualism in French and English is required for this position due to the nature of the role having interactions with National & Global clients and project teams.

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $175,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
