About the role

The RSP Voc determines appropriate vocational goals, identifies the need for vocational rehabilitation and/or support services, evaluates participants’ current and potential vocational abilities through assessment of physical, cognitive, and psychological abilities to create an objective vocational profile. • Determine the need and type of specialized or ad‑hoc assessments to accurately evaluate employability.
  • Consult with RSPs to confirm functional impairments impacting well‑being.
  • Evaluate whether additional evidence through further assessments is required to render an opinion on earning capacity and employability.
  • Follow approved processes and program requirements to support analysis and recommendations.
  • Complete comprehensive case notes and specialized assessment summaries per contract requirements.
  • Develop final reports that clearly answer referral questions with objective evidence.
  • Submit appropriate reports according to established standards and timelines.
  • Comply with program requirements for confidentiality.

  • A Minimum of Three (3) Years’ experience in the direct provision of vocational rehabilitation services (or a combination thereof) including:
    • Conducting medical, psycho‑social, or vocational rehabilitation assessments.
    • Working with persons living with mental or physical health problems creating barriers to civilian life.
    • Analyzing and interpreting assessments and making recommendations based on critical analysis.

Plus

  • Strong computer skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of local labour markets.
  • Employment conditional on obtaining federal security clearance – Reliability Status.
  • A reliable vehicle and the ability to travel.

Required Criteria

What we offer

  • Work from home and earn a competitive starting salary of $75,200.00 annually.
  • RRSP Matching program of 1.5% of base earnings.
  • Coverage for credential or designation fee.
  • Ongoing learning and development opportunities.
  • Generous time‑off policies that promote work/life balance.
  • Do work that makes a difference!
