    • Own and update a compliance manual that meets CLHIA, CIRO, AML, and ATF requirements, and contribute to the Compliance Committee to streamline communication between the securities and insurance entities.
    • Manage license renewals and track advisor compliance designations, ensuring all advisors meet provincial requirements.
  • Operations and Client Support Oversight:
    • Oversee the management of advisor production agreements in the APEXA licensing platform, including training branch administration on supporting advisors with licensing requirements.
    • Ensure orphan clients are reallocated to advisors to generate new business opportunities and audit books of business to identify growth areas.
    • Oversee the insurance commission reconciliation process, ensuring timely and accurate distribution of commissions and alignment to appropriate producer codes.
  • Carrier and Partner Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strategic relationships with insurance carriers to promote product alignment and integration with Ventum’s wealth services.
    • Represent Ventum at industry events and committees as a subject matter expert, advocating for the firm’s resources and value to advisors and clients.
  • Risk Assessment and Compliance Oversight:

    • Coordinate with marketing to ensure that client-facing materials are both compliant and effective in showcasing the firm's wealth and insurance solutions.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in insurance and wealth management, ideally within a multi-line retail wealth context.
