Position Description:
The SAP HCM Consultant (Payroll) is responsible for analyzing business requirements and delivering integrated SAP HCM solutions with a strong focus on SAP Payroll Management. This role requires deep functional expertise, the ability to propose innovative solutions, configure SAP modules, and collaborate with clients and cross‑functional teams. The consultant will also provide leadership within the team and support business development initiatives.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements related to SAP Payroll , ensuring accurate and efficient solution design.
- Configure and implement SAP Payroll (PY) modules based on best practices.
- Work closely with functional and technical teams to deliver fully integrated SAP HCM solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
- Coach and mentor team members on SAP Payroll, and related HCM topics.
- Participate in pre‑sales and business development activities, including RFP responses, demonstrations, and solutioning sessions.
- Apply advanced knowledge across other SAP HCM areas such as Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Personnel Development (PD), Benefits, and ESS/MSS to support broader project needs.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Minimum 5 years of functional/configuration experience in SAP Payroll Management.
- Experience in at least 2 full lifecycle implementations.
- Strong consulting experience with proven client‑facing and relationship‑building skills.
- Expertise in SAP Payroll and best practices, configuration, and testing.
- Strong understanding of Canadian payroll legislation, compliance rules, statutory requirements, and time evaluation rules.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Nice to have:
- SAP HR Certification.
- Experience on SAP SuccessFactors (Employee Central, EC Payroll, Time Off/Time Tracking).
- SAP SuccessFactors Certification (Employee Central, EC Payroll, Time Off/Time Tracking).
