  • Use technology and digital initiatives to enhance the client experience
  • Review your work and that of others for quality, accuracy, and relevance
  • Prepare and compile supporting documents for application packages (letters, forms, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain an effective communication stream with other Coordinators, lawyers, and client stakeholders
  • Ensure that all client correspondence, documents and relevant data fields are recorded in the internal database(s)
  • Assist with preparing reports
  • Respond to clients and/or vendors regarding invoicing
  • Collect invoices, annotate billing codes, and submit to Accounts Payable upon receipt
  • Ensure timely payment of vendor invoices

  • Filing, photocopying, and mailing/courier
  • Any other administrative responsibilities as required
What you bring to the role
  • 1+ years of experience in U.S. Business Immigration
  • Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. Immigration law and the workflow of NIV files from initiation through to completion, including, but not limited to, H-1B, L-1, TN, and B-1 matters
  • College Paralegal Diploma or University Degree
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to locate and research information efficiently, to use it effectively, and to evaluate the quality of the information
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to relate to people at all levels
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively prioritize
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, multi-task, use initiative and to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
