About The Role

The Role : Lead Front End Developer

The Team : The Ratings Division is looking to hire a Sr. Full‑Stack Developer to lead hands‑on development and provide design‑pattern insight. The S&P Global structured‑finance value‑stream technology team in the Ratings Division consists of geographically diversified software engineers responsible for developing scalable solutions by working directly with product‑development teams. Responsibilities

• Develop web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and other open‑source Java frameworks, RESTful web services.
• Enterprise‑level integrations using distributed streaming platforms, REST, OKTA, etc.
• Front‑end development using React / Angular and MFE architectures.
• Database development on PostgreSQL, Oracle, and integrations with application services.
• Application containerization and deployments through CI / CD pipelines and AWS services such as S3, EKS, EC2.
• Write SQL queries and maintain a strong understanding of data models; Databricks knowledge is a plus.
• Deployment using containers.
• Infrastructure knowledge and exposure to CI / CD.
• Observability, monitoring, and troubleshooting using Splunk, ELK, Jaeger, etc.
• Prior development on Camunda or other open‑source workflow tools.

Toronto (Hybrid 2–3 days onsite)

Compensation & Benefits

90k – 135k CAD / year base compensation. Final base salary will be based on geographic location, experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications.
