Our company is partnering with a well-established litigation law firm seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Lawyer to join its practice on an urgent basis.
This is a senior-level opportunity for a litigator who thrives in complex commercial disputes and is looking for meaningful responsibility, client contact, and long-term stability. The firm is seeking someone who can step in and run files with minimal oversight while collaborating closely with leadership on strategy.
Position: Commercial Litigation Lawyer
Experience Required: 8+ years
Compensation: $175,000 – $200,000 base salary Open to higher compensation for the right experience
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (office-based with flexibility)
The Opportunity
Handle sophisticated commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution
Take a lead role on files involving business disputes, contracts, shareholder issues, and related commercial matters
Draft pleadings, motions, facta, and other substantive court materials
Manage discoveries, mediations, and settlement negotiations
Appear before courts regularly and contribute to trial strategy and preparation
Maintain direct client relationships and provide strategic legal advice
Mentor and support junior lawyers as needed
Ideal Background
8+ years of commercial litigation experience
Strong experience running files independently
Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high expectations
Active license and good standing with the applicable Law Society
