A Business Analyst (BA) is a dynamic individual who has an excellent technical background and is looking to transition into a fast paced, customer oriented, consulting role. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate their strong interpersonal skills, be mature and confident when dealing with high level customer executives. We are looking for an individual who may not have the experience yet but are willing to step into a consulting role to grow at an accelerated pace. This individual should be able to proactively seek guidance that helps solve our clients’ various issues. As there is a large interface with our clients, the position requires an individual who is comfortable and confident when working on-site or remotely with our customers. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding for problem solving and is looking for business-related experience.

Requirements

What You Will Do

• Support the implementation of financial planning and reporting solutions for clients
• Assist with data mapping, model configuration, testing, and deployment
• Work directly with clients to understand their budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes
• Help troubleshoot system and data issues during implementations
• Participate in client meetings, workshops, and training sessions
• Provide ongoing support and respond to client questions related to business and system use
• Collaborate with senior consultants to deliver projects on time and with high quality

Required Qualifications

• A mix of experience, training, or education that helps you succeed in this role.
• Accounting experience is a definite asset
• Two (2) or less years of relevant work experience, Foundational knowledge of accounting and financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Must possess strong business and entrepreneurial skills, ability to manage multiple tasks in a project-based environment
• Superior communication and presentation skills
• Strong organizational ability is required as the candidate will be required to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Must be comfortable working in a project environment interacting with senior level executives including CFOs, VPs and other line finance staff
• Must possess a working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and be familiar with the financial statement preparation process. Comprehension of financial concepts/terminology is required
• Comfort using AI tools responsibly to support tasks such as research, drafting, or data review
• Ability to learn new tools and adapt as technology evolves
• Curiosity and openness to exploring new approaches
• Collaborative mindset when working with teams and technology
• Must be legally entitled to work in the country where this role is located

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $70,000 CAD to $85,000 CAD, in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws in Canada and the United States. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, location, and internal equity.
