Head Office is located in Winnipeg, MB, however, this position is open to any location where Allmar has offices.

JOB SUMMARY

The Business Development Manager, Security Innovations is tasked with the duty of driving increased sales for Allmar across the country;

for improving our communication and relationships with Architects, Electrical Contractors, Contractors, and End Users; for developing awareness of Allmar expertise, resulting in increased frequency of qualified selling opportunities for our Access Control and Electronic Security Products portfolio.

1. Working together with Sales and Marketing staff and at Executive and Branch level to achieve company goals including increasing company sales

2. Create sales and marketing awareness of Allmar capabilities in the contractor, architect and end user community across our market territory, through support of Branch involvement in these communities

3. Assisting in the development of core competencies and systems for the Sales Team to support them in reaching Company goals

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

But not limited to

  • Develops strategic sales and marketing objectives nationally and locally focused on Access Control and Electronic Security Products
  • Working with the Marketing Department, initiate market research studies and analyze their findings and assist in product and service development, and implement the marketing strategies of the company, including those that will satisfy new demands
  • Manage marketing programs and materials that have been developed by the Marketing Group, such as; advertising, event support and online promotions
  • Assist and support local and regional trade shows with branch managers, sales managers and regional champions participation
  • Provide coaching, guidance and support to the national security sales team driving performance to budgeted sales levels and beyond
  • Working together with the branch and sales leadership team to evaluate sales performance
  • Establish new sales market opportunities
  • Working in conjunction with local branch leadership, manage effective pricing strategies that will not only lead to more profitability for the company but will also help in the consolidation of market share
  • Provide leadership to spec writing initiatives and develop programs to leverage this resource into sales growth
  • Keeps management informed by preparing reports; making presentations; interpreting information; making recommendations
  • Working with our key Access Control & Electronic Security Products vendors to ensure we have competitive pricing and rebate programs as well as field level support and training for our Security Sales team.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or minimum 7-10 years of sales and marketing experience in the Access Control & Electronics Security Products market
