Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
About the role
We’re looking for a Claims Assistant II to join our growing team!
You will be responsible for providing administrative assistance and front-line quality customer service in the settlement of insurance Claims.
What you'll do here:
Assist adjusters in evaluating contents on Schedule of Losses.
Collaborating with adjusters to ensure accuracy in settlement reports.
Calculating ACV and RCV.
Process, coordinate, sort and distribute incoming correspondence.
Identify process improvements to management.
Other tasks such as: CAT Coding, reviewing low complexity files to move to closure, providing quality checks to temporary staff.
What you bring to the table:
High School or College Diploma including business/administration training or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
Minimum of 1 year of work experience.
Ability to consistently perform at a superior level with respect to both the accuracy and volume of work completed.
Effective communications skills with an emphasis on customer service.
Strong computer skills of with standard office applications including strong data entry skills.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
