Insurance Account Representative - Desjardins Agent Team Member

Our Desjardins Insurance Agency located in Markham, Ontario is currently expanding and seeking multiple highly motivated and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Insurance Account Representative.

Responsibility:

1. Selling auto and property insurance products to individual/business clients to meet Agency targets
2. Complete personalized needs assessments for client
3. Provide insurance advice and solutions to clients based on their needs and ensure clients are charged premiums that correspond with risks
4. Focusing on meeting the needs of the personal market through the full suite of Desjardins Insurance auto and property insurance products
5. Calculate premiums and establish payment method
6. Deliver and explain policy to policyholders and to analyze insurance program and suggest additions or changes, or to change beneficiaries
7. Ensure that policy requirements are fulfilled, including any necessary vehicle inspection and the completion of appropriate forms
8. Maintain positive relationship with both existing and new clients

Requirements:

1. Self-motivated

4. OTL license (must pass the exam before starting the position)
5. Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
6. Basic Microsoft office skills
7. Must be fluent in both English and Chinese

Compensation:

1. Base salary: $50,000
2. Plus Commission
3. Plus Year end bonus
4. Life and living benefit up to $200/month after probation
5. Paid vacation
6. Health Plan
