Demonstrate practical experience of engineering best practices while being obsessed with continuous improvement

Develop, deploy and manage a highly-scalable and high-availability platforms monitoring and maintaining service performance and availability metrics

Take ownership of our configuration management platforms

Collaborate with engineers to bring new features and services into production

Develop and improve operational practices and procedures

Willingness to be available 24x7 for Support related escalations

Define, document and translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and non-functional specifications

Responsible for the development and implementation of Technical Training courses

Creation of learning aids and communications

Creation of eLearning and instructor-led content for both field and office employees

Responsible for adherence to the materials management system, publishing, versioning and controls of training content

Weekly Release Reporting, Negotiate, Plan and manage all release activities.

Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations

Required Skills and Experiences

4+ years experience with running DevOps / SRE teams Strong experience with DevOps / SRE practices (for continuous improvement)

Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate

Hands-on experience in Dynatrace & ServiceNow

Strong knowledge of Cloud Platforms such as AWS and Azure

Strong understanding of monitoring & alerting systems (ServiceNow, Dynatrace, ElasticSerearch, Icinga, SCOM)

Knowledge and experience building monitoring dashboards,

Experience tuning the monitoring and alerting

Experience using log aggregation tools and visualization tools

Hands-on development experience with scripting languages such as Shell, Python, VBScript, Java, HTML, REGEX

Experience using DevOps Tool Chain, for example, but not limited to :

Artifactory

Ansible

Confluence

Gitlab / Github

JIRA

ServiceNow Change Management

Desirable Skills and Experiences

Understanding of Applications, Services and Infrastructure monitoring

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and comfortable working with both Business and Technical teams

Able to adapt quickly to changing priorities

Demonstrated ability to follow-up on issues independently and ensure they are resolved promptly, escalating when necessary
