Securiguard is looking for motivated individuals to join our Equipment Operators team in a casual on-call capacity to work for a high-profile industrial client in Kitimat during the fall / winter season.

Hours : Casual on-call work including days, nights, and weekends

Wage : $75.06 / hr* (*average hourly wage + % in lieu of vacation / benefits)

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for Equipment Operators who have a passion for health and safety. Successful applicants will bring strong experience with safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment (Snowplows, Loaders, Excavators) and a solid understanding of OH&S work practices and procedures and will follow them consistently.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those that have the applicable experience and want to earn some additional income while assisting with snow clearing operations.

What would you bring :

  • Experience operating equipment
  • Able to drive and work in all weather conditions
  • Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize daily tasks, and problem-solve
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent communication skills to aid in manual snow clearing
