Contract : 6 months

Location : Toronto — Hybrid – 2days onsite per week

Seniority : 5+ years total dev experience, 1+ year in a lead / mentorship role

Team : P&BB Products API Team – dedicated to delivering API services for lending and EDB platforms.

Interview Process : 2 Total

Overall Responsibilities :

• Lead the design and development of critical technology functions across multiple business units, ensuring product quality, performance, and UI / UX.
• Analyze the impact of design decisions on the computer solution / product / service being developed and recommend alternative solutions for optimization if required.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from various areas of the business to define, analyze, and deliver requirements that reflect the needs of both the business and end-customers.
• Assess the costs and benefits of different solutions and recommend / decide on appropriate designs.
• Build solutions that are supportable, scalable, and achieve our aspiration of common assets.
• Proactively identify and resolve production issues, including completing root-cause analysis and diagnosis independently.
• Strengthen the development capability of the team by sharing expertise, mentoring employees, building communities of practice and networks, and staying abreast of industry technical and business trends through individual learning and participation in professional associations and practice communities.
