On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Business Analyst - Capital Markets - Change Management/Trading.

Business Analyst - Capital Markets - Change Management/Trading – Job Description

• One of bank’s largest projects – replacing legacy derivatives and trading settlement platform with a new one

• Currently in its 3rd phase of migration of trading books

• Role: operates within the Portfolio & Change Management (PCM) group and will function primarily as a Senior Business Analyst

• The incumbent will work directly with relevant participants to define project parameters, success criteria, solutions, and timelines while deploying best practices in process analysis, requirements documentation, project planning, testing, and stakeholder communication

• The PCM team is global with the team split up between US, CA and UK

• This role will report into the Canadian PCM team

• Manage testing initiatives and participate where required

• Analyze workflow processes by creating Business Process Maps for existing and proposed operational processes and systems and recommend associated solutions

• Lead meetings to resolve problems / inefficiencies and work closely with Subject Matter Experts and Project Manager to help outline solutions

• Prepare accurate, timely and compliant documents/reports, with a focus on Business Requirements

• Consistent delivery of high-quality service with a view to exceeding client expectations

• Liaise with IT teams during development of Functional Specification and Design documents

• Manage multiple project tasks

• Manage project communications including status reports to all stakeholders

• Maintain effective internal and external working relationships

• Develop user guides and training materials as required

• Tracking and reporting on project status in consistent format to senior management

• Escalation of any events requiring management attention on a timely basis

Business Analyst - Capital Markets - Change Management/Trading – Mandatory Skills

• Post-Secondary degree

• 4+ years Business Analysis experience

• Change Management background

• Knowledge of supporting systems used within Operations, such as Rates Infinity, Murex, Swapswire/MarkitWire, Bloomberg, TradeWeb, Xceptor

• JIRA/Confluence

• Skillful in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc.)
